Trip to the dentist (Part 2)
purposely took leave for D-day. and got two of my teeth filled in half an hours time. not sure of the real reason though - it's either the dentist is very skillful or she is rushing for her next patient (she has a patient every half an hour).
getting the suction pipe unattended in my mouth a a few minutes, some metal thingy clamping my tooth, the cold and numb feeling... just scare the hell out of me.
no amount her breast shoving into my head will alleviate my fear. i only hope it end soon.
and the damage? RM120++.
ouch!!! i better go and claim from my company tomorrow!

The "Perfect" Neighbour!
This lady stay at the 2nd house left side from my house.. When i was on my way driving back from my BF house, my sis called & inform me that the lady actually parked right in front on my house entrance. The reason was that my brother has parked his car at my left side's neighbour's house (mind you tat he did not take any of the space that belong to the lady's house).
When i reached home i was so pissed off because i noticed at the opposite of our house, there were so many empty places and she chose my house entrance to park her car?!!
I parked my car at the opposite road and went to the lady's house to ask her to remove her car. This is when i got o pissed off... she not just did not apologize & remove her car immediately. Instead, she ask me to remove my brother's car which did not parked at her place!! Haha.. FUNNY!!! Then again i asked her to remove her car which is parked at my house ENTRANCE, and explained to her that my brother did not block her house entrance nor use any spaces belong to her house. this time she gave me a very funny answer. She said " Y do i have to take the trouble to park properly in front of my house?.." Haha!! meaning if there is a car near the spot that she needs to park, she is not able to park?? No parking skill!! Wahaha!! No wonder!!
this is the best part: She asked me 1 question," How many times did i parked at your entrance?"
i was like, "WAT?!!" What question is that? she din even feel that it's wrong to block other people's entrance! Walau eh!! iI had to waste my salive to keep telling her it is nothing to do with how many times did she park at in front of my house entrance, it's that it's blocking other people's entrance and it's immoral! oh.. 1 more thing, she is an Indian lady which is well educated!. And i get this type of question coming out from her mouth?? Suddenly i doubt that she has a brain!! wahaha.. and mind you,, this is not the first time she park right in front of my house.
Then i had to repeat n repeat to ask her to remove her car but she pulak keep repeating that stupid question.. haha...
I told her that my brother will not remove his car because he did not park at her "territory".. so after 5 minutes of talking crap with her.. Finaly her mom could not take it and asked her to remove.... At least the mom knows this simple "neighbourhood" rules... In a nutshell, neighbours can be cranky depending on your luck! wahaha!!
Below will be a pic that i took where she parked her car right in front of my house..

Dos & Don'ts During Pregnancy
Rule #1: No raw food and ice PLEASE! In Cantonese "sang lang yeh".
Excuse #1: "Aiya, only once in a while mah"! - Take note: Empty stomach in the morning!
Rule #2: No nail polishing, hair rebonding, coloring or curling PLEASE! - because the chemical will effect the baby.
Excuse #2: " Rebonding is allowed because the the chemical will not reach the scalp!" wahahah!
* Few of my pregnant friend actually told me that government nurse actually will scold expecting moms with polished nails or dyed hair etc!
Rule #3: If you are not allergic to dairy, drink those milk which is made for expecting moms.
Excuse #3: "Milk is smelly, i can't take it" i'll drink soy base product.." wei.. those product do not have DHA and other vitamins which is important for the growing embryo leh! Want to take vitamin pills to substitute? wahaha!
Rule #4: For God sake! Consume the vitamin tablets that they provide you during you checkup. Because they know what the baby need more that you do. Unless, you are rich to go get it from pharmacies.
Excuse #4: "The pills are smelly, i can't take it!" Shit! what the baby's gonna eat ah?
Rule #5: Have the least Fast Food as possible because it's widely known that Fast Food is not healthy.
Excuse #5: "It's the pregnancy crave, nothing to do with the mom.. Blame the baby"! HA HA FUNNY! Doesn't mean should eat Fast Food so frequent kua!
Rule #6: Be good! BE very Good! because whatever you do or think will indirectly effect the womb! They call it "toi kau" in cantonese.
Don't #6: Never ever call other people's son STUPID, DOG, USELESS or GO EAT SHIT! - Pregnant or not, it's still wrong to do that! Normally what old people like to say is that, the more you say bad about other child, the more likely your child will be like that, or even worse! We call it karma. So, let's do good, shall we?
So, those are the ABCs & 123s of pregnancy. For more info, please do not hesitate to ask your doctors! Hehe.
Although i have never been pregnant before. But i think the most important period to determine whether a child will be healthy in the future is during the child's growth in the mother's womb. No matter what, it's a mom's responsibility to make sure the child is healthy when he or she is brought into this world. But then again, i really do hope that this "unique" expecting mom that i mentioned knows what she's doing. And i hope the baby will be healthy when he or she is out later.

friday night
ouch… procrastination got the hold of me. i should have posted this on friday night.
rainy days are bane for us KTM Kommuter passengers. last friday was one of those days…
trains will definitely delayed if it rains heavily. worse thing is, even the announcers don’t even know what time will the train will arrive (for all destinations).
the killer move was out when the announcer told us to “Take other types of public transport and will refund back the tickets bought”.
damn, after waiting for almost an hour, this is what we get…
with nowhere to go and raining heavily, i decided to wander around before making the next move.
KL is a nice place to walk if you don’t mind the filth and some bad hats around the are.
anyway, i walked to Putra LRT station coz i was thinking of taking it to bandaraya station.
but i scrapped the plan.
instead, i walked around the station for half an hour. nice graffiti there.
this is only a part of it. and yes, that is the famous Yasmin Ahmad on the wall. i think most of you had seen it on the papers or on the TV.
so random photo that i took. just standing there watching people walking in the rain somehow gives me a calm effect. not to mention fun. haha!
went to Central Market next. decide to skip Petaling Street coz i don’t think there will be much to see there on a rainy days.
do you know that there are various kind of show in the Central Market at night? i only knew it on that day. but i did not waited for it. plus, i don’t think they can perform anything on a weather like this (it’s an open air performance).
since i’m at Central Market already, i might as well took a bus home. plus i don’t think trains will be a very efficient transport on a rainy day. not worth taking the risk anyway.
but then again, taking a bus is a risk itself. after all, how many times have we read in the papers that there are daylight robbery in the bus and yet nobody is willing to help.
and i have not taken a bus ride for more than 3 years. that’s a big risk. yikes…
the above is a bad photo. it’s actually me inside the bus. haha!
daylight or not, i still took out my PSP to kill time coz in KL :
rain + public hols. = massive jam.
but the journey is still fast considering that i’m taking a Selangor Bus (or was it Metro Bus?). doesn’t matter. the speed of these two buses are the equivalent to F1 racing.
and these smart asses even skipped a few routes to evade the jam. but of course, they had warned the passengers beforehand that they will skip that particular route.
reached kepong in an hours time. feels a lot better than waiting for the train for an hour!!!
photo taken while i was waiting for GF in Kepong. can’t complain the quality of the photo much coz i was using my old handphone to take this.
left office at 5.30pm, reached home at 8.10pm. that’s a great friday!!!

Of arguments and fights…
yes, the above is unavoidable between couple/spouses (or between friends, families, business partners, etc etc). that applies for us too.
which got me thinking, when we are involved in an argument, how will we be reacting? is it:
1. The Cold War
there will be no talking between each other. unless really really really needed. no apologies, will not even voice out even when a nine inch nail are stuck in your eye balls. more talking will only generate more arguments.
like the Cold War between US and Soviet Union, both sides are keeping ammunitions and threaten to blast each others asses off if there’s any movement.
there will be lots of spying on each other (whether to see if the other half is doing ok or otherwise).
you will be waiting for the other half to apologize or fly the white flag. if there’s a party who is willing to let of of his/her ego and surrender, good. the war has ended.
if not, good luck~~~
2. Epic fights
forget about keeping ammunitions and all that. it’s time to fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee (to quote from Muhammad Ali).
in fact, feel free to bite of your partners ears off (or any part that your teeth can reach) if you are the losing side.
diplomacy does not exist in this kind of arguments. the moment it started, expect bruises, blood or even bits of flesh!
in my opinion, if it gets to this level, this relationship will not last long (if at all)…
3. Barking dogs never bite
this will be the complete opposite of the Cold War. in this kind of argument, all kinds of fact/fiction will be blurted or screamed out, whether intentionally or not.
in some extreme case, there will be some explicit coming out too. no joke, i’ve seen my grandmother saying it to my grandfather!!! that was eye opening experience for me. not to mention ear-opening as well.
i think this type of argument is very common among those who had been together for quite some time. this is very prevalent especially among eldery.
it is a quite-safe type of argument (in my opinion) but if left uncontrolled, it will definitely lead to Epic Fight…
4. Monkey See Monkey Do…
this does not even qualify as an argument in the first place. more like a revenge. and i think only females will do it.
“you sleep with other girls, i will sleep with other guys”. fair play…
no physical or word fights are involved. maybe you will be greeted with smiles too!!!
this kind of fight is bad coz people will not know what had went wrong though…
5. let’s break up…
ah… the dreaded word that some seemed to say it out when the argument is petty.
in my opinion, there are some thing that you should not say it, regardless of whether you are furious or not.
not to worry, their wish will come true soon enough when they say it often…
that’s all that i’m going to list down. i can’t think and am too lazy to think of more. anymore that you can list down?
or more importantly, which type are you?

help...
mask are being distributed in the company and to some extend, some companies are even providing thermometers to the staff.
yeah right. as if we would wear it. well i did, at least for 5 minutes...
after that, the mask is now sitting somewhere in my drawer waiting to be tossed into the dustbin.
the bad thing is, now i'm down with flu as well. started with a horrible sore throat in the morning. what ensues is runny nose.
there's no fever. so there are no H1N1 infection, i guess...
went to see doctor and got my med. immediately after that, i got cough. damn!!!
i hope i will get over this soon...

Part time job as an insurance agent
with all the commitments and for the future as well. i have been thinking of getting a side income.
where to start, what to do?
should we start to bake pastries and try to test the market?
or sell apparel?
or maybe becoming a part time insurance agent, which my friend had asked me to do all this while.
yes, i am open to all kinds of option. even as an agent.
from what i can see, the sky is your limit. but do i have what it takes to become one?
yes, training is available and there will be people to coach you. but can i really do it?
am i too scared to disappoint myself?
i blame it for my lack of self-confidence…

It is so near yet so far!
never thought another buyer offered the owner a higher price ( rm5K higher)...
i will not blame the owner though. it's logical for him to sell to whom ever who offers a higher price.
seems that it's not meant to be ours...
hmmmm..... it's ok.
let's start hunting again! All the best to us!!

buying a house…
…is one hell lot of work. not to mention involves a lot of work. and also the most important thing – MONEY.
which translates into one big word – HEADACHE!!!
the headache starts the moment you planned to get one.
finding a house that you like is one thing. finding a house that you like AND you can afford is another thing. will we be able to pay for the downpayment? will we be able to pay for the monthly installments, plus the maintenance fee and the utility bills for the next 30 years?
which means there were countless hours of going through the newspapers, looking around banners, asking friends/family for any good properties and asking agents.
next thing is to see if there any anomaly in the building. if there is, we will have to ask the respective experts as whether the building is safe to occupy or not.
then, it will be the security of the area. is it safe? is the crime rate high in the area? how was the security there?
once everything is A OK, proceed to purchase the house from the owner or developer.
ok, this is just the beginning. the next part will really involve in parting of our hard-earned money…
once (or before) the Sales and Purchase Agreement has been signed (not to mention paying 2% of downpayment), it’s time for the mad scramble of finding the right loan from the right bank.
if comparing the rates that the bank is giving you heading, wait till you see the kazillion products that the offer. you’ll be eating double doses of painkillers that you normally take…
which type of loans to take? conventional or Islamic? fixed or variable? or both (if any)? easy entry cost or non-easy entry cost? how about the Insurance? MRTA or MLTA?
the list goes on…
and yeah, i’m currently at the above dilemma. the jargons that they use are so complicated… it’s like you need a Master in Rocket Science to comprehend it.
and of course, applying it will not guarantee that your loan application will be approved. just hope that our bank accounts are healthy and the powers-to-be will approve it.
if everything goes right, will have to pay for the rest of the downpayment (8%). and also the legal fees, which cost around RM3K (if i don’t want the Bank to absorb it) and also SPA fees which also cost around RM3K.
and the rest is history. we will be in debt of the next 30 years or so…
it’s all about the money.
not to mention headaches…
