the day i lost my Bachelor’s Degree and she got her Masters.
and also my mother’s birthday. haha! but that is a coincidence actually.
yes. it’s the day we registered for marriage. there’s nothing special about the date. we chose it for convenience sake though. planned to register on the end of February but due to certain reasons, it can’t be done.
the 1st thing that i noticed the moment i stepped into JPN Putrajaya is “why are there so many Indians? is it an auspicious day for them?”
but no, it’s not an auspicious day for Indians although they make up 80% of the race on that day.
it’s just that there’s only a few Indian couples getting married, but each of the couples bought a big entourage of families with them. think of a busload of families, and you will get what i mean. haha!
after paying RM30 for the registration fees, you are good to go! notice the Indians behind us!
RM30 is cheap huh? but the same cannot be said for divorce though. and there’s also the legal fees and alimony (if any). so better think carefully before getting married!!!
after lepak-ing around and taking photos for and hour or so (yeah, it took us that long), it’s time to get into THE ROOM and make the oath.
This is the point-of-no-return the moment you said YES!!! i actually answered “uhhh… ya” when the official asked me whether i am willing to accept GF as my wife.
BUT not because i hesitated, it’s because i couldn’t get what the official said. but common sense got told me to say yes to everything as i doubt they will ask questions that made me say no. my common sense saved the day. haha!
too bad, my friends had recorded a video of it. and now i will be known as the one who hesitated to say yes. haha!
after getting all the papers signed, it’s time for more photography session.
happy that we got our marriage certs?? i think she is the happier one. hahaha!
This is just the beginning of our lifelong journey. there will be more to come!!!
*special thanks to family and friends who took the trouble to attend the ROM. more so to two of my old friends who also took great photos with their DSLRs! Thank you!
